Rev M J Thomas – retirement event

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.
1 Tim 1:11

On November 26, 2011, the Chicago parish gave Rev M. J. Thomas a retirement send off. Achen requested that due to health reasons he would like to step down as the vicar of the parish. He served as vicar for the past 18 years. Many of the members have known achen long before he took the leadership role at the Chicago parish. We want to wish Achen and Kochama well in the next phase of their mission work for the Lord and for our parish.

We also officially welcomed Rev Jacob Chacko as our vicar. We will be praying for Achen as he is the vicar for the Chicago, Toronto and Detroit parish. Achen and Kochma, the Chicago parish welcomes you and we pray that the lord gives you wisdom and patience to lead your parishes, in the ways of the lord.

Much Love and Prayer
From STECI Chicago Parish
